How HiredUp AI Works
HiredUp AI is a native Windows desktop application that runs invisibly during your job interview. When you start a session, HiredUp AI captures your interview audio using the Deepgram Nova-3 transcription engine — which processes speech in real time with industry-leading accuracy.
The transcribed text is sent to an optimized LLM routing pipeline that matches your question against your uploaded resume, career history, and target job description. Within 780 milliseconds on average, a calibrated, personalized response streams to your private overlay window.
The overlay window is made completely invisible to screen sharing software using the Windows SetWindowDisplayAffinity API (WDA_EXCLUDEFROMCAPTURE) — an OS-level display composition hook that filters the overlay out of all capture pipelines. This means Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Slack screen shares will never show the HiredUp AI overlay.
